Boeing is seeking an Associate Statement of Work Writer & Process Analyst to join our Global Sourcing & Vendor Management team in North Charleston, SC; Hazelwood, MO; Kent, WA; Mesa, AZ; or Renton, WA.The primary responsibility of this role is to collect requirements for IT Application Services (ITAS) and develop comprehensive Statements of Work (SOW) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) that align with business requirements.
The successful candidate will leverage their technical writing expertise to increase first-time quality within contracts and develop sourcing strategies to optimize the placement of purchased services work. Additionally, the successful candidate will improve ITAS processes through automation, foster productive relationships with customers, employees, peers, and Information Technology (IT) service providers to enable integrated and comprehensive sourcing solutions.
Position Responsibilities:
- Assists with activities to define, deploy, evaluate and support common computing standards, IT processes, tools and process/performance metrics
- Assists with evaluation of computing processes to identify and implement process improvements
- Assists in consulting/coaching and training on improvement of software development and maintenance processes, use of common software processes and deployment
- Assists with the definition, development, deployment, and maintenance of infrastructure products and services supporting common processes
- Observes and supports common process planning and strategy development, deployment, sustaining and improvement
- Observes new technology reviews
- Collects Requirements for IT Application Services
- Facilitates and Writes Statements of Work and Service Level Agreements
This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R.
- 120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 1+ years of experience in technical writing and publishing (SOW writing)
- 1+ years of experience in developing proposals or contracts
- 1+ years of experience do you have working in the Information Technology (IT) field
Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Contract Management, Technical Writing)
- 1+ years of experience with IT Application Services and related contractual requirements
- 1+ years of experience with legal and contractual terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build productive relationships with stakeholders
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead cross-functional initiatives
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master, 6 year's related work experience, etc.).

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range: $70,550 - $102,350
