Downtown Disney Construction Updates

Disney just announced details on the new steakhouse and adjacent barbecue eatery that will be coming to the footprint of the former Tortilla Jo's. These new additions look really promising! We can likely expect some construction walls to go up soon in this area.
Construction continues for Parkside Market, which will be home to four culinary concepts: Seoul Sister, Sip and Sonder, GG’s Chicken Shop, and a second-story bar. See the concept art for what the space will ultimately transform into below and our full Downtown Disney expansion guide for details!
There are also two new promising stores coming to this area with unique merchandise. See all the details in our three new shops coming to Disneyland article.
Critter Country Reopened

Critter Country has reopened after its multi-month closure, which started in May of this year. Now, the land is partially reopened as guests now have access to The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh and the right-hand side of Pooh Corner. This area is being renamed to Bayou Country but that won't be official until Tiana's Bayou Adventure opens at Disneyland.
There is still construction going on, but guests can enter Pooh Corner to shop formerchandise and treats inspired by Winnie the Pooh.
The left-hand side of Pooh Corner is still closed as it is being transformed into one of two new Princess and the Frog retail shops, Louis' Critter Club.
Upon its reopening, Pooh Corner introduced a new treat, the Blue Honey Pot apple! This new offering is too cute. We love the details of the honey dripping and the bees on the outside.
Here is Tigger saying hello! The Winnie the Pooh characters are now back out once again greeting guests in the land.
A new sign is up for Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree as the restaurant continues its reimagining! Disney recently released the menu for the location which you can read about in our full Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree guide.
The walkway connecting the area to Galaxy's Edge was also recently reopened as well.
Tiana's Bayou Adventure continues to make progress as it gets ready for its opening at the start of the Christmas at Disneyland celebration. We're only a few months away now!
The ride is currently in testing at Disneyland—we saw the log flume being tested for the big drop.
Here is another look at the construction for Tiana's Bayou Adventure:

Haunted Mansion Construction
The Haunted Mansion construction continues on the grounds expansion. The ride is currently open via virtual queue only as work continues on its queue.
We can see progress has taken place since our last update as the walls are starting to take shape, but it's very much still an active construction site.
Disney has not yet shared an update on when construction will be finished for the new queue experience, but we can anticipate based on the current progress that it won't be for a while.
Disneyland Railroad and Monorail Refurbishments
As you can read about in our Disneyland refurbishments guide, there are several rides currently closed or scheduled for refurbishment, among them the Disneyland Railroad. Here is a look at the work going on below.
The Disneyland Railroad closed earlier this month on August 5. Disney has not yet shared when the Disneyland Railroad will be reopening.
Another major closure is the Disneyland Monorail, which closed on August 12 and also does not yet have a reopening date.
