Fortnite and Epic Games are clearly huge fans of crossovers and collaborations. Whether it’s movies, comics, or video games, there are plenty of guest stars to choose from in the game. One of the latest additions to Fortnite are more skins from the Naruto franchise.
A number of Team 7 members were added to the fray back in November of 2021. However, June 2022 saw some shinobi rivals enter the mix.
How do these new Naruto outfits in Fortnite shape up? Read on to find out how each skin ranks.
Honorable Mentions for the Best Naruto Fortnite Skin
8. Gaara
Known by many titles, Gaara started out as Naruto’s enemy. A Shinobi of Sunagakure, Gaara was feared before he was even born. Being made the Jinchuriki of the One-Tailed Shukaku caused him to be shunned by his village. This gave him a hatred of everyone and caused him to focus on taking care of himself. However, after encountering Naruto Uzumaki, he changed his outlook after being defeated by him.
In Fortnite, Gaara dons a floor-length, long-sleeved red coat that splits in the middle. On his lower half, he wears fairly simplistic black leggings, paired with sandals on his feet. His Back Bling is his trademark yellow Gourd, and he sports a protective vest as well. He also has the Kanji for “Love” inscribed on his forehead with his Sand.
This ensemble matches his look from Part II, before his ascendance to Kazekage. This Naruto character also has a second skin variant in Fortnite called Fifth Kazekage that matches his appearance in the New Era. Here his hair is slightly neater, and his coat lacks his chest guard. It’s also slightly darker in color.
Gaara comes in a Bundle with Hinata, and can be bought for 2,400 V-Bucks. He also comes with his Sand Cloud and Gourd as a Glider and Back Bling respectively.
7. Itachi Uchiha
A criminal of epic proportions, Itachi truly is an evil-doer. Or so it would seem…
Formerly a Captain within the Anbu, Itachi was a shinobi of the Konohagakure Uchiha clan. After slaughtering his entire clan except for his younger brother Sasuke, Itachi became a wanted criminal. In reality, Itachi was actually a double agent. By wiping out his people (including his parents), he was able to spare his brother’s life.
After committing the atrocities, Itachi joins Akatsuki, a criminal outfit of ninja. It’s from this organization that his default look comes. The black and red gown he wears is standard for the syndicate. Interestingly, his headband is slashed, symbolizing his severed ties with his village.
His other outfit is called Black Ops and is the uniform of the Anbu. The Anbu is a special team of ninjas who carry out assassinations and important missions. Here Itachi wears black undergarments along with the grey armor pieces. He lacks the Anbu’s signature masks which they use to conceal their identity.
Itachi is bundled with Orochimaru. This Naruto Fortnite skin bundle will cost you 2,200 V-Bucks to purchase. Oddly, his Black Ops Mask acts as his Back Bling in the game.

6. Hinata Hyuga/Uzumaki
The now wife of the titular Naruto, Hinata was formerly an heiress of the Hyuga Clan.
After being deemed unsuitable to lead the warriors, Hinata joined Team Kurenai, also known as Team 8. After meeting Naruto in the Chūnin Exams, they became trusted friends over the years. The pair eventually marry in The Last: Naruto the Movie and she joins the Uzumaki clan.
Hinata’s standard look matches that of her visual during Part II. Here she wears her faded purple and white hooded jacket. Her long black hair with a straight fringe also ties her to her Part II look. Hinata’s bottom half is a simple pair of blue trousers paired with sandals.
Hinata’s second look is after her marriage to Naruto, hence her last name change. Here her hair is much shorter and she sports a cropped hoodie over a white t-shirt. Her bottom is made up of a khaki skirt and long black socks.
While the image listed here shows Hinata to be quite stern, her character can also be very cute. She is definitely a contender to appear on our list of the most Kawaii Fortnite skins.
Players can also turn her Byakugan on or off, changing her eye details. Byakugan is a power that allows people to have a 360 field of vision. This ability was a trademark of Team Kurenai.
The Hinata skin is bundled with Gaara in a Naruto bundle in Fortnite, and has her own Backpack but no Glider.
5. Sasuke Uchiha
Younger brother of the “traitor” Itachi, Sasuke is one of the last living members of his clan. Sasuke made it his mission to avenge his people and his parents by eliminating his brother. He eventually joined Team 7 and became best friends with Naruto himself. His thirst for vengeance isolated him from his friends, and he soon defected from Konoha. After the Fourth Shinobi World War, he returns to Konoha as the Supporting Kage.
Like many Naruto characters, Sasuke has a number of different looks throughout the manga and anime. This is mainly due to the amount of world-changing events that take place. These events also happen over a long period of time. Fortnite seems to have modeled Sasuke after his Part II and Shippuden appearance.
Here he wears his open shirt with dark blue trousers, secured with his chunky rope belt. This “uniform” is that of those that follow the Sannin Orochimaru, with Sasuke being mentored by him at this time. Unlike other Naruto skins in Fortnite, Sasuke only has one main outfit style.
Instead, players can alter their red-eye color to a greyish-purple by using the Rinnegan stye. In Naruto, Rinnegan is one of the eyes of the Three Great Dōjutsu. Those who wield it can see Chakras and master any jutsu and all of the nature transformations. Sasuke gained his Rinnegan from the spirit of Hagoromo’s Chakra, but can be overwhelmed by this power easily.
Sasuke is bundled with his wife Sakura, and has the Demon Wind Shuriken and Snake Sword included.
4. Sakura Harano
Wife of the previous entry Sasuke, Sakura originally thought she would never become a ninja. A Kunoichi (female ninja) of Konohagakure, she has now become a master of medical-nin.
Initially a shy and unconfident character, Sakura has real growth over the story of Naruto. After joining Konoha’s Academy, she befriends Ino Yamanaka and has a love interest in Sasuke Uchiha. Like many of the other Naruto cast, her outfit mirrors what she looks like in Part II/Shippuden.
In this Naruto Fortnite skin, she dons a sleeveless red qipao dress and black legging shorts covered by an apron skirt. She also has a shiruken holster, black gloves, and knee high boots.
Again a common theme for Team 7, her second outfit is post Fourth Shinobi World War. At this point, she has married Sasuke, adopted his last name, and had a child. She now wears a different qipao dress which is much longer and has ¾-length leggings. Her subtle pink hair is also slightly longer and straightened, and she no longer wears gloves.
An incredibly minor detail is the rhombus mark on her forehead. This is the Strength of a Hundred Seal that she gained during the Fourth Shinobi World War. This Seal will greatly increase the power of its user’s techniques, hence its name, and is linked to Katsuyu summoning.
Sakura can be purchased with her husband for 2,200 V-Bucks and comes with her Cloak as Back Bling.

3. Naruto Uzumaki
The titular hero and icon of anime/manga, Naruto Uzumaki personifies what a hero should be. Much like our first entry Gaara, Naruto was shunned by his people from birth due to similar circ*mstances. Uzumaki was made jinchūriki of the Nine-Tails when he was born, his power causing his villagers to fear him.
Dreaming of becoming Hokage, Naruto joined Team Kakashi and worked tirelessly to prove himself. His people eventually accepted him, and dubbed him Hero of the Hidden Leaf. After playing a pivotal part in the Fourth Shinobi World War, he earned the title of the Seventh Hokage.
As per the norm, Naruto’s main skin in Fortnite is based on his Part II/Shippuden visual. As such, he dons his recognizable orange and black tracksuit with matching bottoms. This contrasts with his bright blonde hair and large headband.
Naruto actually lost his arm in the FSWW, as did Sasuke, but replaced it with a prosthetic. This is why in his Seventh Hokage outfit his left hand is covered in bandages. Now older and wiser, Naruto wears the same colors but in different forms. He now sports an orange zip-top, white cape, and black bottoms.

2. Orochimaru – Runner-Up to the Top Naruto Skin in Fortnite
A hunter of immortality, Orochimaru has a real lust for power. One of Konohagakure’s Sannin (the legendary ninjas), Orochi turned against the people of Konoha after being caught experimenting on them.
For years he sought revenge against them but eventually saw his goals weren’t possible. Since then, he has kept a close eye on his former apprentice ninja, Sasuke Uchiha.
Within the world of Fortnite, Orochimaru has two distinct looks. His standard Naruto Fortnite skin matches his Missing-nin (ninjas who abandon their village) appearance. This is made up of a black t-shirt and leggings, covered in a drab grey cloak. This is all held together by a thick purple rope belt.
Like Itachi and Kakashi, Orochimaru’s alternative outfit is of his Anbu days. Rather than being simply called Black Ops, this is referred to as his Hidden Leaf Era style. His clothing here is the same as his fellow ninja, black undergarments with grey armor.
Thankfully there are no outfits resembling Orochimaru’s modified or “true” form, that being a giant snake. He does however have an Emote called Striking Shadow Snakes where he turns his right hand into several serpents.

1. Kakashi Hatake – The Best Naruto Fortnite Skin
A masterful shinobi respected by many, Kakashi Hatake is a great warrior and a greater leader. A star student with clear talents at an early age, Kakashi was destined for greatness. Present in the Third Shinobi World War and later a talented Anbu, Kakashi is recognized as one of the best of his generation.
Kakashi has kept mostly the same look throughout his appearances, with his default Naruto Fortnite skin reflecting this. His underclothing is a plain black top and bottoms, with a red swirl patch on the arms. This is covered by his khaki jacket, with black gloves, a large headband, and a facemask.
His headband slopes down over his eye, hiding his injury from the TSWW. In the conflict, he lost his left eye while protecting his friend Obito from a sneak attack from Taiseki.
His second skin in Fortnite, Black Ops, is the standard Anbu outfit seen in Naruto. It is very similar to Orochimaru’s, but Kakashi is equipped with forearm guards. Here Kakashi does not hide his battle scar and does away with his headband. He does however keep his facemask.
Arguably his coolest look is the addition of his Mask to the Black Ops outfit. This conceals his entire face, making him an anonymous and terrifying assassin.
